Building useful software, learning continuously, and growing from web and mobile development into systems programming.
About Me
Hi, I'm Arvind Sabarinathan. I'm a pre-final year Software Engineering student who enjoys building software that solves real problems and makes technology more useful for everyday people. I started my journey through full-stack web development, building projects that helped me understand how ideas become products. Along the way, I explored mobile development with Flutter, and developed a growing interest in how software works under the hood. More recently, I've been focusing on C++ and preparing for an upcoming internship at Siemens, where I'll have the opportunity to contribute to engineering software used in real-world simulation workflows. What excites me most about software is its ability to improve people's lives, even in small ways. I enjoy building products that are practical, easy to use, and designed with real users in mind. From a developer's perspective, I care deeply about writing clean, maintainable code, keeping solutions simple, and building systems that can evolve over time. One of my favorite projects is an offline-first, privacy-focused, open-source password manager built with Flutter. It combines several things I care about: user privacy, reliability, thoughtful engineering, and creating tools that people can trust. When I'm not coding, you'll probably find me exploring new places in real-life or virtually through travel videos and vlogs. I enjoy learning about different cultures, technologies, and perspectives, and I'm always curious about how people around the world solve problems. I'm still early in my journey, but I'm constantly learning, building, and looking for opportunities to contribute. My goal is simple: create useful software, keep improving as an engineer, and leave every project better than I found it.
